Your images never leave your device. All image processing (compression, resizing, format conversion, background removal) happens entirely within your browser using the Canvas API and WebAssembly. No image data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party server.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information you provide

We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use FreeImgKit. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information.

2b. Usage data (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics may collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• General geographic location (country / city level)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Referring website
• Events such as which tools you use (no image content is ever sent)

This data is collected anonymously and aggregated. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

2c. Browser storage

The Background Remover tool downloads an AI model (~50 MB) from a CDN on first use. This model is cached in your browser's cache storage for faster subsequent use. No personal data is stored. You can clear this cache at any time through your browser settings.

FreeImgKit itself does not set any first-party cookies. However, third-party services we use may set cookies on your device:

Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

We use the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:
