FreeImgKit provides free, browser-based image processing tools including image compression, resizing, format conversion, social media resizing, and AI-powered background removal. All processing occurs locally within your browser. No images are uploaded to or stored on our servers.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use FreeImgKit only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to process images that violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
• Use the Service to infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party

4. Intellectual Property

The FreeImgKit name, logo, website design, and written content are the intellectual property of FreeImgKit and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

The open-source libraries used to power FreeImgKit (including browser-image-compression, @imgly/background-removal, and ONNX Runtime Web) remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their respective open-source licences.

You retain full ownership of any images you process using FreeImgKit. We make no claim to any content you upload or download.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. The quality of AI background removal results may vary depending on the complexity of the image and is not guaranteed.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREEIMGKIT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Because all image processing happens locally in your browser and no images are transmitted to our servers, we are not liable for any loss, corruption, or unintended modification of your files resulting from use of the Service.

7. Third-Party Advertising

FreeImgKit displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads are provided by Google LLC and are subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the practices of third-party advertisers.
