🔒 Your images never leave your device — all processing happens in your browser.

Crop any photo to a precise region right in your browser — no app, no upload, no account needed. Drag the corner or edge handles to resize the selection, drag inside to reposition it, or type exact X, Y, width, and height values in the inputs below the canvas. The result downloads as a lossless PNG.

How to crop an image

  1. Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP file using the drop zone.
  2. A crop box appears automatically — drag the white handles to adjust it.
  3. To start over, click anywhere outside the current box to draw a fresh selection.
  4. Use the pixel inputs below the canvas to set an exact size or position.
  5. Click Crop image then download the result.

Frequently asked questions

Does cropping reduce image quality?

No. The cropper reads raw pixel data from the original file and copies only the selected region to a new canvas. No re-compression happens, so there is no quality loss.

What format is the output?

The cropped image always downloads as a PNG. PNG is lossless and preserves any transparency in the source. Use the Format Converter tool if you need a JPG or WebP file after cropping.

Can I crop to an exact aspect ratio?

Yes — type the same proportional values in the W and H inputs. For a 16:9 crop at 1280×720, type 1280 in W and 720 in H, then reposition the box.

Is there a maximum file size?

No server limit applies because everything runs in your browser. Practical limits depend on your device RAM. Most phones handle images up to 30–40 megapixels without issues.
